Hi Guys

I arrived in Cairns yesterday and was so glad to see the sun shining! The weather was lovely yesterday and seems as though, it is gonna be another gorgeous day...

I went out last night with Harriet a girl from my dorm, we went to a pub/club called the woolshed, its really cool. We met loads of nice people, some of which I have attached pics, well some of them anyway.

They had a goldfish race (I know it sounds really bazar) they auctioned off fish to race against eachother, each had a name and different nationality! They had 2 long rectangular tanks and the idea was to race them to the finish by blowing in the water, (thinking about it now it does seem a bit cruel) and the overall champion would win $100 to spend at the bar. A few of us tried to club together to buy the australian fish but we couldn't afford it, as it was auctioned at $40!! Glad we didn't get it in the end as it didn't win. It was really funny to watch.

Today I have booked all my trips and cant wait to go on them, here is the plan:

Friday - Hot air ballooning, Saturday - Barrier reef, Sunday - White water rafting, Monday - Cape tribulation, and Tuesday mission beach.

Today I am off to Kuranda to the rainforestation Nature Park, am hoping to get my pic taken with a koala!

Now that I have some money, things are looking up and I can enjoy myself, I am really enjoying travelling on my own, I have to met some very interesting people..
