HEY!

So I'm now nice and settled in Oz and i absolutely love Sydney! It's all the good things about London... plus its not overcrowded, smelly, dirty or anything like that. The people are cool and the nightlife is great too! Sooooo expensive though....

Although i was extremely gutted to leave Thailand/Pai when i did, after spending a night in Bangkok i was more than ready. Although i met two lovely girls from Oxford and spent my last night with them in a rooftop bar/'The Club' on Khaosan road which was loads of fun.

Anyway since being in Oz I've done some cool stuff.... the first day we just wandered around Sydney and took a jet boat round the harbour. It's absolutely beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures! (funnily enough). We got absolutely soaked as our captain decided to do 360 degree spins. Australians are mental. Yesterday we just wandered around the city a bit more and went to the aquarium (although its not quite as cool as seeing the exact same fish in the wild...) and then we hit Kings Cross area of Sydney. Again... was so expensive but such a fun night.

Today i started my surf career... unfortunately i was not quite as good as i would have liked :( i stood up quite a few times but it all went downhill after lunch when i quite literally could not stand up... then i got cramp. its loads harder than i ever imagined! You get so excited that you're actually on the wave that everything else goes out your head and you forget what to do. The instructor was really cool.... a typical ozzy surfer dude. Anyway that's it for now really... having a chill night tonight after an absolutely shattering few days!
