Last day trekking today, feel happy at what we have achieved, sad it's coming to an end, and excited for the next leg of the trip! Good walk today, took the time to go steady and take pics, which was nice (so far have been more engrossed in the challenge and getting to the front where possible, shame as you miss so much doing it this way). OUCH!! Thighs, calves and knees needed stretching this morning! One word for today, steps, no two words, steep steps.........5-6 thousand of them, ALL downhill.....started off fairly easy then got more and more difficult. Lunch was a well deserved break, past a random electric pole with mobiles plugged on for recharging, in the middle of no where! By this point it was near on 40 degree heat so although a rest, a fairly hot one with limited shade, so glad to get going again with the thought of a campsite by the river in mind....
