We arrived early and it was SOOOO HOT! We caught the bus into town and were dying. Everyone says its really pretty here and it was, but to be honest its not a great as we thought. Maybe we are spoilt but it just looked like any other european city. We made the mistake for stopping for coffee in the sun. I've never drunk coffee so fast in my life to escape the heat. We took the worlds steepest path up to the castle on the hill which was hard work but it was so hot we just had a quick look around and left, desperate to get back to the pool at the campsite. Ahhh the pool was great... and then I spied the lifeguard.... he was lovely... I probably made it obvious I was staring and he so knew it. Spoke to him later in the day and wished i hadnt. Ive never met someone who talked about himself so much! He bigged himself up about everything..! Boring.. should have just watched him instead! We then realised he is the first person we have spoken to on holiday! At all the campsites its generally older foreigners. Everyone keeps thinking we are German because of the German number plates on the van.

We headed out to town that night for our first cocktail of the trip...mmmmm...... but didnt stay out as we were driving to Croatia the next night.

We had been looking to stay at Baska on the Island of Krk... there were 2 campsites. One with no shade and one with... however, the one with is a naturist one..hmmm... we said lets go... its going to be a story if anything and something we've never done.... oh oh......
