So we finally got to Austria. Ive decided that I prefer driving on the right hand side of the road. Saying that though, when Kathleen is driving Im such a nervous passenger.. and its nothing to do with her driving. Im sure i will get over it. The only bad thing about the van is no air con. I forgot how hot a car can be in the sun... eeew....

Got to Panorama Camping last night, and its lovely with a pretty view. Took hours to cool down and was sitting there in shorts and a bikini top thinking "hmm, i must have turned english and cant handle the heat anymore!". We finally sorted out the van and now can find everything finally! Not long before bed the lightning started then as we went to bed, the rain and boy did it rain. Woke up to a pretty cold and miserable day. I had never thought this would happen so early on. We both had to get dressed with jackets and pashminas and jeans... great! Got the bus down to the city and we have been wandering around. Went to Mirabell Gardens which is where they filmed the do re mi scene out of the sound of music. Headed up to the fortress Hohensalzburg, but walked and thought my legs were going to fall off as Im so tired anyway! We are going to wander around a little more today but just chill out. Its suppose to be fine tomorrow so we can head up the Unterberg cable car before we drive down to Hallstatt. Fingers crossed today is just a random cold day. We are both dying to go swimming in the lake!!!!
