And so the adventure begins....

Kathleen got to drive first (thank god) and we successfully made our way down to Nürnberg to the first campsite. The van is pretty good. Her name is Honeydew!

We literally dumped our stuff in the back and went planning to organise and go to the supermarket when we got there.. but we ran out of time. It was a bit bizarre where we were. It was right next to a stadium which is all fine. We were starving and had no food and smells from other peoples campsites were drifting over..mmm... so we headed off to look for a shop, or something. We could hear crowds at the stadium so walked that way. Strangely we were thinking it was quiet, as in traffic and people, but the crowds were going wild. As we walked past and peered in, the stadium was completely empty and no sign of life, except this crowd noise. No idea but it was a bit bizarred. I felt like i was in an episode of lost! Lucky after that we found a biergarten and got some food! woo hoo. So back to the van we went to get ready for our first night, popped the roof off, made the bed and went to sleep.. well it took us ages and to be honest we didnt sleep great being our first night and all....

Friday it was my turn to drive. After navigating the streets very badly (we drove the wrong way up a one way st) we finally found a supermarket then headed to salzburg.....
