After a very cold night in my tent we all woke up at 5 to go and see the sun rise over Uluru, which was stunning, and worth the early wake up! We then walked throughh the valley of the winds in Kata Tjuta, which is a conglomerate rock formation not far from uluru and is also very cool. Woke up at 5.30am this morning in order to check out and be on a bus by 6am. I was greeted by Doc and Froggy who were the guides, hopped on the bus with the other peiple and drove until 12. Hello! I made it to alice springs - very strange place. Got up early this morning to say bye to everyone and then uncle chris very kindly took me to the airport - i felt very bad as i saw the trafgic on his route back! Bang on rush hour... 3 hour flight and i got here just fine. It's much hotter than sydneywhich is nice at the moment but it might get too hot! This is going to be a short one - not much time! We went o the northern beaches today. Uncle Chris, George (who was supposed to be revising) and I. First we stopped at west head, which gave the mostbeautiful views of the hawkesbury river and the sea - it realluy was the most beautiful place. Today i got up early in order to go with Auntie Corinne to pick up Alexa from her friends house by 8.15. Once wehad picked her up we went for a walk with Barney around Kurl Kurl beach, a beautiful beach, which at that time of the morning was full of surfers before they went of to work.
