So in case my mothers million and one facebook updates haven't let you know, I'm alive and loving life. We just returned from rthe mountains, and I should probably be unpacking, but I'm a great procrastinator. I honestly promise to upload my photos soon.. Just gotta get everything organized first! Anyway, just to fill you in on the last few days of my mountain adventure... I spent two more days skiing, and graduated from bunny hills to blue slopes... Yay me! The one day I had an instructor, Bruno... Picture long hair, dark sunglasses, and the repetition of the phrase'"non, OPEN the snow plow!" so help me god, if he said the one more time, I was going to open his jugular with my ski. Anyway, my limbs were about to fall off on the last day of skiing, so I pulled a half day, and, in typical Emma fashion, spent the rest lounging with my sketch pad. The highlight of the trip would have to be that night.. We all loaded into the cars and drove up the creepy mountain roads in pitch black to go to Benedicte's brothers cottage in the mountain. Xavier (her brother) rebuilt the home from the ruins of an old farm. So my closest 15 French family members and I spent the night camping out in the mountains, eating, laughing, singing, still eating, and playing my favorite French game, loup-garou. The view of the surrounding area the next morning was devastatingly beautiful... Tiny villages nestled in among the mountains like something out of a fairy tale. Mais oui, I am glad to be home, with Internet, and clothes, and hopefully my glasses soon (thank you mother dearest for shipping those over for moi). Anyway, I'm off to hunt down the peanut butter, pictures soon Canadian loves!
Much snowplow love,
Emma

Lavern Camping ??????????? Does that mean black flies and brook trout .... a la snowshoe and skidoo. I think we would enjoy your "cottage" camping. Amazing.
