Gran Phyllis My dear sweet grand daughter. Keep on having fun. Make every day a unique experiance. So glad you are having a wonderful time.. How can we keep you in Sarnia after you've seen Paree? I hope to go back to Paris in the Fall. Spoke with James on Sun. last, and made tentative plans. He is very anxious to talk to you, and to discuss varios options for you to study overseas. He has lots of "ins" and can line up various financial aids. James really wants to visit you in Toulouse, but does not want to impose. Love your blog and pictures. Hugs and kisses. Gran As for your visit to Paris. I spent four days in the Louvre, and still was not able to scratch the surface. Remrmber, the Mona Lisa is quite small. Most people don't realize that. There is another Da Vinci painting in the same room, that I found quite interesting. Also, I found Sainte Chapelle fantastic, and not to be missed. It is near Notre Dame. I am sure your host family will know all about it. Musee D'orsay is not to be missed.Van Gogh's paintings are wonderful. I have always been a Rodin affectionato, and loved the Musee Rodin, The Kiss etc. I spent day at Cimeriere Du Pere Lachaise is very interesting. I spent a day there, could not visit the graves of all the famous people there. In fact, they had to chase me down and kick me out! There is so much to see,. These are only the "high points" as far as I am concerned. That is why I plan to spend another month there. As for fashions, Montreal is far superior.

Rebecca Haha creeeepin but I've had chicken quite a few times and have yet to see one of those bathrooms, But omg all the bread and cheese! And ya they all think me and the other exchange girls are weird for not smoking, they're surprised it's not like that everywhere. And I don't know if it's like this where you are but the cars ALWAYS stop for you when you cross in front of them, like I'm so scared to cross the road all the time cause no one "looks both ways", they just walk across the road and hope for the best I guess ahaha

Gran Emma, bring some macarons back to Gran please! I have a few left in the freezer from my stay in Paris. Makes me want to go back to France when I see them Love the chestnut ones. Keep on having fun, concentrate on your French i. e. congucate those verbs! We all miss you.
