hi guys

We´ve just arrived and already having a wicked time.

So much has happened in such a short space of time. Kella and I left on Wednesday with a very long journey ahead of us! We took the train down to Euston where we met Kella´s brother, Lee, for a drink and then we headed to Heathrow. Nearly missed our flight out of Heathrow because me and Kella decided it was wise to stop and have another drink since we had so much time on our hands (apparently not!). Luckily we made it onto our flight to Barcelona and just slept most of the way there.

In Barcelona we tried to be cheeky and get ourselves a free hotel but no such luck! We headed to the place we knew best "Las Ramblas" since we had a 12 hour wait. We had dinner in a little restaurent on the street and had ourselves a nice jug of Sangria and then headed to our favorite bar D´Or where the guy actually remebered us from last time we were in Barcelona! After that we hit another bar and then went to a club! Then about 4 am we headed back to the airport and camped out on the airport floor until 7. Best way to pass the time on a long stopover!

On the flight to Lima we had the shock of our lives when the annoncement said the plane we were on was heading for Madrid but for some reason it felt like stopping there for jokes! Me and Kella made ourselves an enemy on the flight in the form of a very bitter frizzy spanish woman who I will call Mildrid because i dont know her name.

Mildrid took it upon herself to be the worlds most miserable woman. If we moved in our seats she would turn round (she was sitting in front of us) and bark at us in Spanish. Kella but her table down so she could read her book and the woman THREW kella´s drink all over her! Kellas reaction was hilarious!

Other interesting things on our flight included a random cat???

When we arrived in Lima our bags chose to be lazy and take an hour to get onto the baggage thing which put the fear of god into me and Kella because until we saw them we´d pretty much accepted them as lost.

We jumped into a Taxi and headed to Barranca to a hostel called the Point but the Taxi driver decided to give us a free tour of Peru beforehand! I was very sure we were being kidnapped for about 20 mins! We checked in and went to sleep and then got up at 4am to pick upLottie!

We´ve just been chilling and meeting a few people in the hostel and in the next few days we´re planning some Spanish lessons and maybe Paragliding!
