Hey All,

Well its been a week since I have updated this! We are now in Brisbane for a day or two before continuing our jounrey down to Sydney!

This week we've travelled down from Gladstone to Brisbane stopping off in Hervey Bay to visit Fraser Island for a couple of days. We spent a couple of days milling around in Hervey Bay, we hired bikes for one day - and couldn't walk the next! We also got completely drenched in a rainstorm on the bikes! Em turned 22 on Thursday so we had a nice day and then went out to a $10 steak night and cocktails! Classy!!

Our trip to Fraser Island was with 4 other people in a Land Cruser - it was pretty cool! Fritz was our guide and was rather amusing. We saw lots of the island and learnt all about the trees - Fritz was particulary keen on the Mela Luca Trees and stopped everything we saw one!! We saw a few Dingos and lots of different birds - again, Fritz stopped everytime! We have spent the last couple of days travelling down to Brisbane and tomorrow we hope to get to Ipswich, Queensland!

Its a bank holiday today - for the Queens Birthday! (Victoria not Elizabeth we think!)
