Emma's Smiley Travels
Hi Guys,
Update on my travels in Argentina,we were headed to Salta, i can't reallly explain well enough the contrast between Boliva and Argentina as to say, we got so excite at the Service station when there were flushing loo's, soap, water & a shop!!!
Shortly before we arrived in Salta we were all tierd and saying we'd have an early night, (we were arivnig about 745pm), but as soon as we saw the beautiful plaza, (very Spanish feel) and the pretty churches, we were like oh ok then, and got back at 530am!! :)
I really like Salta spent the time chill'n, shopping etc, it was a really nice change from the contast go of the last few weeks.
We then headed off for some long drive days & camping to get over to Iguassu falls on the Argentina side. I was not looking forward to this bit as we had been a bit spoilt until then and not camped at all!!
I have to say it wasn't that bad, we all have cooking groups and cook, which actually good fun, & i made my famous spagetti bolonese, though i have never made it for 17 people before i think this my be a record that i don't want to break:)
When we finally made it to Igussu after 2 10 hour drives it was a relief. And i have to say it was worth it, the falls are fantastic, i can't explain the scale or beauty to do it justice, but needless to say i have lots of photos that you can look at Xmas, (though not sure they are up to your standards:) We went on a boat trip, that actually took you right underneath the waterfalls which great fun, if not a little wet:)
The next day we crossed the border into Brazil, luckliy the Argentinans don't take as long to let you out of the country as in ( it over an hour to get in), and we then we were in Brazil, i was very excited about this:)
More about Brazil in the Brazil postcard:)
Hope your all well, take care
Luv Em:)
