Hi all,
Well since last time, ricky has done the biggest bunjy jump in Australasia, the N,N,N,N-nevis, at 134m its pretty big. I thnik he enjoyed it. We walked up to the top of the gondala in queenstown, the views were amazing. We then went out on St Paddys day with Kay and her Dad, which was a great day! We all had too many guiness's.
We then travelled about 3 hours down to Milford Sound, which was amazing. The drive in was really scenic but then we did a morning cruise around the sound and it was stunning, the biggest sea cliffs in the world!
We drove up to Mount Cook village which was not the best as the weather was awful, but we walked to the Tasman Glacier to see that, but we couldnt see mount cook, so we carried on to Arthurs pass. No change there and the it was raining pretty bad with flood and gale warnings, but we had to walk to a waterfall and got absolutly soaked.
We then drove up to Hamner springs where we had a really nice few days. The weather was great we did 2 wine tastins at different vineyards, both very nice. Marble point and Waipara hils. We found a nice cheap campsite and went to the famous mineral hot springs the next day, after a run to pretty waterfall!
The springs were grest but i wasnt keen on the sulphur pools the hottest at 41 deg, but also the smelliest, i preffered the normal mineral pools at about 37 deg.
Anyway, we have a few days now to spend in christchurch and then we fly to sydney on saturday!
