Hello Everyone,
Yes we are still alive ! Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while been busy little bees. If you have had a look at our pics you will have seen our road trip down to Mooloolaba was very successful was a fab 4 days saw some wonderful sights and scenery and was so much fun! Dean loved driving the 'big rig' as he called it and when we are rich maybe we could afford one it was stunning inside with 2 double beds a kitchen and a toilet!
When we got to Mooloolaba we was kindly welcomed with open arms by deans Auntie Annette, uncle Ian and cousin Chenise. We are staying with them at the moment in their lovely home here.
So much to tell you all we both have jobs dean is waitering at a nice restaurant down on the seafront and I am waitressing at a Spanish tapas bar not far from where we are living. work is going good and were just saving the Penny's until the next adventure. Any donations are welcome please send to Emma&Deansfunds.com ! lol
We both prefer Mooloolaba (which is on the sunshine coast) to Cairns its has beautiful beaches and is just generally alot more chilled out, we've fallen in love with the place.
We've been here over a month now and have seen and done lots already Deans auntie and Uncle have been fab taking us to lots of places where we wouldn't of thought to go.
Hopefully you have a look at the pics and will see we went to Underwater world which was really cool (seaworld in Brighton is nothing to this !) we saw massive sharks which were pretty scary and got to see the gorgeous seals. We've also been to the famous Noosa and went for a 2 hour walk in there National park, unfornunantly that day the heavens open and for a moment on top of that cliff I thought we would all be washed out to sea ! We also went down the the very swanky but very expensive Hastings street which has some lovely boutiques.
Other places we visited are Coulandra, Coolum, Alexandra heads which are reletively close and are equally stunning with there beaches! A fav of ours was Eumundi markets, back in the day it was mainly a hippy community this has changed slightly now but the markets were fantastic you could easily get lost rows and rows of stalls selling just about everything you can think of, also giving away all the free food you could eat (didn't do the waist line any favours that day!)
Out of everywhere though we have to say the best place yet is the Steve Irwin Zoo the guy is a LEGEND! The zoo was amazing the enclosures were massive and it was just so clean. Everywhere you go you are reminded of the amazing work he done. We also watched the croc show there in the massive crocoseum we was ginormous!! My fav part of the day was feeding the wallaby's and kangaroos, Dean got a fab pic of me laying on the grass with one! At the end of the day we walked around all the tributes for him which was pretty sad : (
That's about it from us, please if your ever bored in the office or at home send us a msg or email we miss you all so much and love hearing from you.
Just before we go we want to say Congratulations to Fiona and Sam for getting Married at the weekend we hope you had a fantastic day and enjoy your future life together.
Love you all,
Emma and Dean xxxx
