Our first stop in Namibia was at Roys campsite, we styd here on our way to see the meteroite. it is apparently the larget in the world, which crashed down on earth 80,000 years ago, but it wasnt discoverd until 1920, it didnt look very big though! we made our way over to Etosha National Park after that where we spent the next 3 days. our first campsite was Numatoni, which wasnt a very big site, and was mostly under constrution. the watering hole wasnt that great either, onyl got to see the hyenas. on the first game drive we did though we did get to see a lion, with his cubs, which were really cute. there was a sringbok nearby and we al thought there was goin to be a lion kill, as he started roaring, but unfortunately we had to leave before we got to see it, as we had to be out of the park by a certain time, shame!! Also got to see some zebra, giraffeand some wildabeast. the next campsite Ockijo? was much better it was a lot more established, the watering hole was amazing, saw so many rhinos, with their babys, even saw one rhino charge at the other as it got to close to her baby! there were also, giraffe, zebra, gamspock, elephant, hyena. the elephants were really good, there was a really baby elephant, it muct have only been born in the last week or so was so tiny! then in the morning game drive we saw some lions eating at the carcus, of what we thought was a zebra, which was quite cool!

After Ethosawe stopped at the Cheetah park, to see some tame and wild cheetah's which was cool. the next day we went to visit one of the local tribes, they were called the Himba tribe, it was really interestingthey showed us round the village, their huts, cleaning rituals, got to spend some time with the children, and brought a braclet that they had made! In the afternoon, we headed over to BHranburg Mountain, to see some more rock paintings.

Next stop was Swakopmound, we stayed there for 3 nights, which was awseome. Did some quadbiking, and sandboardingon the dunes which was fun, if not at times a bit scary!!there was one dune that we went down on the quads which was at a 90 degree angle which was well scary!
