After one night in Bangkok we jumped in a minibus, whose interior was either designed by someone ahead of their time or someone with no clue about style, and headed towards the border. The journey was long and the Thai drivers were fearless. Emma caught up on some sleep whilst I looked out of the window and made silly comments. I prefer to think of them as quite witty but I have been told otherwise. We made it to the border where we drove through a very large market. We were told by our guide that the Cambodians believe they can get things cheaper across the border whereas the Thai believe it is cheaper in Cambodia. This has resulted in a huge market where Thais are trying to sell Cambodian goods they purchased across the border and Cambodians are trying to buy cheap Thai products. After passing through the market we had to get out of the minibus and walk across the border. After showing our passports on the Thai side we walked across the Friendship Bridge which was donated by Britain and we were quickly met by gangs of street sellers eager to make a sale. We then had to show our passports to the Cambodian side and hope they'd let us in. Maybe the street sellers are trapped in a state of limbo because they lost their passport somewhere between the two passport booths. There were no dramas and we were soon enjoying the delights of the questionable Cambodian driving style.

Awesome McAwesome Glad to see the netbooks coming to some use. Although you seem to be spending more time with it than with actually seeing the country. Hope you're not too sunburnt. Peace out,
