Slept really well last night after moving to the bottom bunk so less chance of me falliing out! Funny moment this morning when i woke up to see a very tall girl jump up on the top of the bunk opposite me. Even funnier this morning when i got up to see that it (he) was actually a guy!! Not sure why he is in a female dorm - maybe he is confused!!

Breakfast was fun as C & J updated me on the situation of last night. Turns out the girl did sleep in that guys bed last night and luckily they heard nothing until thius morning as they preceeded to have a very embarassing "morning after the night before" conversation with C & J still in the room!! Noooooooo!!

Decided to explore by myself this morning and wandered around the shops for a bit. We are right next to Saks, Macys, Barneys, Bloomingdales and i also found an Old Navy and an American Eagle store - lee i did think of you as it was HUGE and you'd have loved it! Very restrained though and bought nothing. From the shops i went up to Chinatown for a mooch. A bit touristy in places but nice off the main streets. Got some vegetable noodles from a place recommended in the guide book - the place was full of chinese people top and tailing beans - oh and the noodles were great as i took them as take out and ate them in the sun in union square.

Back to hostel to meet ben, C & J and Joseph and Gemma to head down to the Golden Gate Park around 2.30pm. Well this was the aim.....We got on the bus at Powell and got off at Haight Ashbury for a walk to the park. Haight very cool - a bit like the lanes in brighton. Turns out the park is larger than Central park in NY so although we walked for ages we didnt get very far. J was so funny as all he wanted was to sit and chill as we carried on he became more sarcastic - we laughed so much!! In the end we waited for shuttle to the beach that never came and got on the bus.

Beach large and beautiful but the sea was cold as we paddled around. Took some pics and stayed about 1/2 hour but quite windy so headed back. found a Safeway supermarket on the way back and so excited so bought some fruit and juice.

Home now and going to grab some food before looking to finalise my flights from Vegas back to LA then all sorted before FIJI.

Shuttle for airport to vegas comes to get me at 3.30am for 6am flight tomorrow.....few drinks then bed me thinks.....Watch out Vegas, henners is on the way!!
