Arrived in LA on the 26th of January and checked straight into the hostel. I could see the Hollywood sign from the window of my room which was cool so decided to take a stroll towards it. Ended up walking through a residential area with massive houses which was cool. Weather was great, so much better than SF! Booked onto the LA City Tour for the next day, seeing as that was the only full day i was spending in LA. Just chilled out for the rest of the day. Watched movies with the girls from my room who were all really nice.

Got picked up for the tour at about 9am. It was good because it was a little shuttle bus so there were only about 15 of us on the tour that day. The driver was hilarious and obviously knew everything about LA. Ended up travelling about 70 miles over the course of the day. Saw everything from Venice beach to Santa Monica, Malibu, Mulholland drive, Hollywood Boulevard (where my hostel was) Kodak theatre, Walk of fame, Celebrity homes, Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills, sunset boulevard etc etc. On the stop for lunch i got offered tickets for Jimmy Kimmel live (a comedian/chat show) that night so after the tour i went back to hostle, dropped my stuff and headed to the studio. Turns out it was Will from Will and Grace who was on the show and a bunch of other people who i didn't know but it was fun. Good way to fill the evening!
Headed back to the hostel and watched more movies with the girls.

My last day in LA was really hot! I wasn't flying out to Fiji until 10.30pm so i checked out of my hostel at 10am and headed to Santa Monica beach for a while to soak up the sun and step into the pacific for the first time! Other than that i didn't do much. Just chilled out and waited for my taxi to the airport. The only reason i was in LA was to get my flight to Fiji so i figured i would just spend a few days there. I enjoyed it but definately feel like i saw all it had to offer!
