So my flight was delayed by an hour to fiji so it left at 11.30pm on the 28th January. The flight was 10 and a half hours and i got there on the 30th January. It was so humid when i got there! wasn't prepared for it! Got to my hostel on the mainland in Nadi and chilled out in the clouds and rain for the day as i was leaving for Oarsmans Bay Lodge, an island 5 hours away, the next day. [note to anyone thinking of going to the southern hemisphere...hole in the oz...

Arrived in LA on the 26th of January and checked straight into the hostel. I could see the Hollywood sign from the window of my room which was cool so decided to take a stroll towards it. Ended up walking through a residential area with massive houses which was cool. Weather was great, so much better than SF! Booked onto the LA City Tour for the next day, seeing as that was the only full day i was spending in LA. Just chilled out for the rest of the day. Wat...

So i'm now in LA and thought i would actually update you all while i'm waiting to check in to my hostel. DAY 1 There isn't that much to tell here as i was flying for 11 hours but it was a good flight because it was empty and i got 2 rows of seats to myself. Apart from sleeping on my makeshift bed i ate and watched movies.
