So we have finaly hit Turkey and we have 3 weeks of sun ahead of us.

First stop Istanbul!

So our first hostel (FINALY A BED!!) it's a 30 bed dorm but I don't mind as or group of 21 (which grew to 22 while we were here) dominates the room.

Sooooo Istanbul is pretty amazing. We were right bang in the centre of the European side and within walking distance to all the things to see. So the 2 days we had we wandered around getting lost in the Bazars to get our Iranian outfits organised and then the Spice market trying all the free Turkish delight and dried fruits and chilling at the bars at night. Me and Laura went for a walk and managed to blag our way into getting a free tea on the roof terrace with the best view in town.

On the first night we all went to the hostel pub and had a couple of drinks and a free sheesha for the group good night of Turkish measures and lots of dancing to the end.

The morning when we were due to leave we had to go to the Iranian embassy to apply for our visas we were there for about 2 hours but finally finished up and headed straight for our stuff and to hit the road as some of us were going to Anzac day and we were well behind schedule.
