Hey! I just wrote out an entry to this and the website messed up so now i'm going to have to remember it in a shorter version since my time left on the internet is even shorter now!! Anyways in Canberra got here from cairns via a couple of trains and a couple of days in both Brisbane and Sydney. Canberra is a slightly odd 'city' it's not got that many people about so is a lttle surreal. Been on a day tour today of the main sights - went to war memorial, parliament house, nat museum of australia and passed lake burley griffin and lots of foreign embassies. Nearly missed the little bus back to hostel because i convinced myself that pick up was 4.45 not 4.30! luckily i was heading to the bus stop thinking i was early so managed to get back to the hostel alright!! Got a few hours to wait now before i catch the midnight coach down to Melbourne and arrive there at 8am Tues. will update photos soon and let you know what delights Melbourne has to offer!!
