so weve left sydeny, had a wiked time there though.

our first day in sydney we did the bus trip seeing all the usual sights , trhe opera house, the bridge etc, which was a nice day and it was boiling hot! got back to our hostel and checked in, then went for dinner which has noe become a choice of macdonalds or subway, we r that skint. got ready and then went out that night on a pub crawl with the hostel we stayed at. was pretty fun. all got on a bus, there was alot of people, got given tshirts, pink for girls black for boys, althoguh we all came back with black ones! which i now sleep in, yay free clothes. went to quite a few bars, and then went back! danced lots, met lots of people so was cool!

next day we took tghe bondi bus around bondi beach amongst other beaches, but the weather was rubbish so couldnt sunbathe and just ended up going back to the hostel. had an early one that night as we were all pretty tired from the night before, a new guy ahad moved into our room so we chatted to him for a while. was called stuart, scottish guy, at the end of his travels.

saturday morning me and kady got up super early to do the sydney harvour bridge climb which was amasing! well worth doing. and not really scary. had to put on some stupid boiler suit type things, microphones round our heads, so attractive lol! took around 3 hours to do an hour and a half for the xclimb and th rest just preparing. the views were stunnign and the guide told us alot about the climb and sydney which was cool. couldnt take cameras up thoguh which was disapointing.

after the climb got back, alex had been to the botanical gardens with stuart, which she said was beautiful. so we went for lunch and then sorted out accomodation and travel for the next few days. that night we went out for drinks with stuart and a friend form home rob, hes my bosses son, for drinks at an irish bar just round the corner form our hostel, and then went with our hostel on a power hour at the gaff. basically just an hour of free beer and wine. didnt stay long though as the pub was rubbish so had some free drinks, danced abit an dthen went back to teh hostel.

got up early again the next day to travel to lisa and karens! caught the train and then bus at 8 and arrived in beecroft at 9. nearly didnt get off the bus! quite funny at the time although wouldnt have been if we really hadnt got off. went for breakfastwith her at a little bakery and then set off for karens in newcastle.

arrived around mid day, was about a 2 hour drive. and spent the rest of teh day wine tasting in the hunter valley! went to a fair few different places, also a chocolate place and tasted some cheese too. had lunch a proper aussie bbq at a pub in the hunter valley. headed back to karens to get changed and then drove into the center of newcastle for fish and chips on the beach. went to get a bottle of wine we had bought earlier in the day to drink on the beach but had forgotten it so dipped our feet in the water and headed back. really nice day with them.

next morning karen got off to work and the rest of us went back to lisas house. visited the koala park on the way. saw some kangaroos, koalas, wombats, possoms, wallabys, wierd birds, sheep wierdly. got to storke the kangaroos as they were tame and the koalas too. they were so adorable! ill put the photos up so you can see how cute they were.

had some awful lunch there and then went back to lisas. showered etc watcehd films for the rest of the day and then had dinner with her mum. made us spaghetti bologanaise whcih was very nice indeed! had a nice chat with her family too. watched more films and then went to bed.

got up late next day, dyed our hair as i had huge dark roots and my hairs getting lighter with the sun. made a stir fry for lunch and then lisa took us on a bush walk! which was fun but also abit scary for me as there were huge spiders everywhere. lisa lives on a 25 acre plot so has alot of bush land. we were literally climbing down cliffs, and walking through bushes, no trail paths or anything, got down to the creek and then walked back up. really hard work! lots of prikly bushes and sliipy ground from all the leaves etc.

met a couple of her friends for dinner that night, two more emilys, then went to a pub, played pool, and went bakc to hers and wwatched more films!

next day we were leaving but lisa had to work before she took us back so we spent the day reading and writing diraies etc then drobe back to the citythat night had dinner at a very nice panckae place which was eriosuly one of the best meals ive ever had and damn good pancakes in themselves! we checkled into a new hostel which wqas so much nicer than the one before which didnt even have lplug sockets!

next morning thusrday up early to go on a blue mountains tour. went with a group, did a few treks on trails this time! through the mountains, saw a brown snake, very dangerous too, but only a baby so harmless! saw more kangaroos had lunch by a lake and then went back.

left sydney the next day on our oz experinec bus! headed for surf camp that day took a long time like 10 hours on the bus! so very tedious, slept alot.
