Perth city, Cottesloe and Zoo!

We are still living the tourist life here in Perth, today Severin even got a "welcome to our country" greeting from an aboriginal in Northbridge. Haha!

Been doing some more sightseeing the last days, together with the manditory visits to Cottesloe beach to work on our sunburns. Up until now I have had most sucess, and can show off 100 new freckles and a nasty flaky burn in my forehead! Nice!

Poor Severin has been ill for some days also, so I've been doing some shopping in the city and at Galleria alone while he has been relaxing at the hostel. Luckily Severin is feeling better now, so today we took a trip to Perth Zoo. It was very hot today, so both us and the animals were mostly sitting in the shadows. The penguins were out and about though, having a nice pool to swim around in! And the meercats had gotten kittens!!!!!! They were SOOO cute!

Oooooo, and Severin bought a new fancy camera today, a brand new Canon 40D which he is very happy with! So now the photos will be EVEN nicer than before:)

Tomorrow we are planning on biking around Rottnest Island, and then later enjoy some fish&chips in Fremantle before taking the 00.45 flight to Sydney. Not really looking forward to another night on a plane, but that's how it is!
