SYDNEY!

We arrived in Sydney early Monday morning, and lucklily got a bed straight away at the hostel. We spent the last day in Perth at Rottnest Island, and we had a fantastic day although it was a bit windy! Saw a lot of quokkas around (see photos), they are funny animals!!! We only had 3 hours on the island, so we biked around a lot to see everything we wanted and spent half an hour at Pinkie Beach before taking the boat back to Freo. Had a lovely fish and chips meal at Cicerello's in Fremantle, before heading back to Perth and the nightflight to Sydney.

After cathing some rest in the hostel we set out to explore Sydney, and went to all the tourist places (Darling harbour, opera house, botanical gardens etc...). Its 4 years since I was here the last time, and it was a little bit sad being here without Maria, Kaz and Roz! We had such a blast last time:) The weather in Sydney is still very unstable, and we had everythng from sun and wild rain showers the first day!

Today we have been to Bondi Beach and shopping a little bit at Bondi Junction. Tomorrow we will take the early flight to Christchurch, I'm really looking forward to some new adventures in New Zealand now! And it will be great having a car to store all our stuff in, our bags have magically gained 5 kilos since departure in Oslo and are very heavy to carry around:)
