After the strenuous tour we went to relax on the beach for a bit and we have spent the past week on a little island in the Gulf of Thailand called Ko Samui and have just moved to the slightly smaller island of Ko Pha-Ngan. Ko Samui was great, we just sunbathed, swam, got the occasional Thai massage and we have even managed to get a bit of a tan, although we got a bit burnt so are on the factor 40 at the moment. You will all be relived to know (I definately was) that Emilys foot has deflated after a foot recouperation day where we weren't allowed to move it at all. On our second night we both got food poisoning from some dodgy fish and spent the next day in bed - thank god there were english films on. We both felt much better after watching Indipendence Day and crying the whole way through (it's a very emotional film!).

We went to see a lady boy cabaret the other night, it was great fun and we have decided that we would like lots of ladyboys as our friends. They were very funny and lots more feminine than either of us! Those thighs were amazing!

Today we saw our first snake, it was green and slithered over Em's foot - she handled it much better than the bats! Also have a cockroach in the bathroom that we are just keeping under the bin, aaargh!
