In Kuala Lumpur (KL as everyone calls it) we stayed in our first hostel. It had a roof garden where you could buy beer and the staff played guitars and got drunk basically. It was really full because the Grand Prix was on this weekend so they put on a little party one night, which was fun, and we made lots of fellow traveller friends, all doing different, exciting things.
