Ben here, my first blog entry!

Landed in Auckland on 16th and spent a few days there as we decided to buy a Campervan rather than rent one. Check out the picture, like the brown stripe? very retro. We had some repairs required before we bought her but now we are underway. Stopped at a very hippie campsite that over looked Goat Island, a couple of hours north of Auckland. We throughly tested out whether the van was watertight with a huge cyclone (NZ for big storm)

I have had a couple of days surfing (Guys on the Portugal trip, no I haven't run anyone down in the water yet) and Em has been doing a lot of reading and sunbathing...

We went diving on Monday at the Poorknights Islands (Photos on way). Very spectacular diving all-be-it a little colder that we are used to. Saw lots of cool stuff and we had a close encounter with a Stingray.

We are now in Pihia in the bay of Islands for the next couple of days
