We've returned from just over a week in Laos which was beautiful...lots of mountains and greenery! We took the slow boat with a couple from our trek and met another 4 guys and 2 girls on the way. We went to Luang Probang which was very French and visited some goregous waterfalls and lagoons. We went to the nightmarket and a temple with amazing views over the town and river. Here we randomly bumped into Jen from footy who joined us that eveing for a baguette!!

After Luang Probang we headed down to Vang Vieng to do some tubing.....now we know what all the fuss is about....it was aaamazing! Floating down a river in a big rubber ring with incredible views of the mountains...awesome. Guys pull you in with bamboo poles to their makeshift bars where we had a few bevvies, jumped off rope swings and had mud fights. It was soo much fun even if a little dangerous.

A bruised and battered Ellie and Danni (especially Danni) took a lovely comfortable, short (sense the sarcasm) overnight bus to Baangkok before making our way down to the Island of Ko Phangnan for some PARTYING!!

Again now we know what all the fuss was about. Lots going on in the evening leading upto the full moon and then the night itself was amazing.....music. dancing, buckets, fire throwing, UV paint and 30,000 people! Lets just say by the end of the week we were shattered and well ready for our 6 days in Ko Samui to recover!
