So where was I?
Yeah in Christchurch.. We drove from there to our wwoofing house in Rangiora, and it was great! (wwoofing is btw willing workers on organic farms, and you work for accomodation and food) ;)
We stayed with Vidhi, Anu and their daughter Bianca.. They were super nice! And working there was so much fun, we did all kinds of stuff, Silja mostly worked with their horses, they had Halflingers and two foles which off course were super-cute!
I did all kinds of things, from cooking to planting stuff in the garden and the veggie/herb-garden and cleaning up stuff and yeah...
We stayded there a bit over a week before going to the next wwoofing-house in Lyttelton outside of Christchurch..
The family was Adrienne, Richard and their daughter Rebecca, and they were also awesome! There we cooked dinner and helped the family around the house and helped Richard at work with his gardening business.. So a lot of fresh air for us!
And off course we had some time off as well and then we went to the beach both in Lyttelton and in Sumner, which was a short drive away.. :)
I also went to Christchurch with the bus on one rainy day, and there I went to some galleries and the fudge-shop :D Yum! Fudgelicious!!
It was good! And also we had some small aftershocks after the earthquake, but unfortunately we didn't feel any of them... :(
After we left that family, we met up with Jule and Nelee, two of the girls we celebrated christmas and new years with and we hung around town with them and went to the beach :) We off course went to our little cafe in Lyttelton: The Lyttelton Lounge! We went there so often that the guys working there knew what we wanted to order before we did ;P
We ended up sleeping in the car that night since it was late and we had gone for some drinks... And we woke up at 6 in the morning shaking! Earthquake!! Fun!! And I just thought it was the winds... But no, it was a 5.1 on the scala, and it was quite cool!
We moved on the next day, we took the girls with us and headed for Akaroa, the french city in New Zealand.. Here we stayed in a "rustic shed" at a sort of hostel./farm place.. And it was kinda cold, but still okay :P You see a lot of different accomodation styled in this strange strange country!
It wasn't really a big place, so we moved on today, and Nelee went to Christchurch to meet up with someone while Jule came with us and we drowe towards Dunedin :) On the way we saw this'n'that everything from nice cafees to boulders and sunflowers ;D
Now we're in Dunedin and tonight we are heading out as far as I know :D
So that's it for now ;)
Over and out :P
