I think we had settled in a little too well and managed to spread our belongings all through our bungalow so there was a bit of a frantic pack in the morning before we caught a taxi and ferry to Koh Tao. This ferry ride was fine, there were no angry Thai man yelling at lone women and once we got going I lay back against everybodies bags and had a snooze waking up only as we were arriving in Koh Tao. As soon as i touched the san of Koh Tao i knew it would e hard to leave. The vibe is so chilled out and beachy and the people so friendly. By now Sophie and I were really hungry for lunch so we found a beach bar/restaurant/BBQ and sat down for a beast of a burger. Pad thai, sorry but you just wouldn't cut it this time. We then caught a taxi boat to Sai Thong, our home for a few days. We spent the afternoon exploring the area that we were in and swimming lazily in the azure colored water and resting on rocks like seals. The food at the restaurant is pretty average, I would recommend wandering around the point where there is a really laid back beach bar and restaurant perched on the rocks that plays James Blake reggae remixes. (There's a lot of music here that has been remixed to reggae beats, I even heard something classical mixed to a beat! I love it)
