We've travelled down south to Koh Samui.. Only took us 18 ish hours!! What a mission.. The sleeper train was 12 hours.. Then bus and boat after that..!
Sleeper train was such fun and didn't feel like 12 hours at all.. I had my sexy socks on which made me look like a granny, but safety first..!! Haha. The train was like Harry Potters hogwart express, apparently (I wouldn't know as after falling asleep to Harry Potter One in the cinema, I can't say I'm a huge fan) .. We had a gossip, giggled and I got cuddled by a random German child that wouldn't let go of my leg... Great with kids, what can i say?! We also had a good inspection of goon's mossi bites that have blown up on her leg like boils- she thinks she got the plague so may have to leave her here if this spreads!
There were four bunk beds and me and Josie went on the two top bunks and the girls had the bottom... For about five minutes I felt like a vampire and thought Bill Compton was going to come and see me.. What a shame this didn't happen! Slept quite well and in the morning woke to pretty sights of South Thailand.
Got to Koh Samui and met Seran :) so the fab four became the even more fabulous five! yaaaay- after her travels for a month, it was lovely to see her and got to hear all her stories and now she will be an extra buddy on our trip until her and goon leave Thailand next week! Wish they were coming to aus.. But never mind, life must go on!
This island is lush! Clear waters and White sandy beaches, and hotel is lush too! Me and Elena got "bumped up" to a deluxe suite- but to our disappointment it looks exactly the same as the others room with a slightly better view.. But got in on our first night and turns out we actually have the loudest room in the building.. Blinking great eh!
First day here we've just chilled out on the beach to soak up some rays and exchanged stories with Sezza! My tan is coming along nicely.. I have lovely white bits, Which excites me greatly!
Our first night on Koh Samui was pretty chilled as well- the atmosphere is completely different to Bangkok, it's so much more relaxed. We went to see a Thai boxing match which was insane.. They just punch each other until their knocked out.. Poor boys looked so disorientated after a smacking! ( Sounds like a Saturday night in Newport, hence why I haven't been out in Newport in 4 years and will never go again.. Haha! )... But at least these guys had pretty fit bodies so were something to oggle at! After, we walked along the beach to a beach bar- all ordered soft drinks and went home for 1am, so an extremely tame night.. We've named ourselves "bores on tour" from our actions tonight! But tomorrow we have planned a night to make up for our disgraceful actions from today..
Our 2nd day was a fabulously boiling day, perfect to get our tan on, clean our laundry, ride an elephant and see another lush waterfall... Josie and Elena did some amazing bartering to get our trip from 700baht to 550 each! We went to the jungle and went in pairs on the elephant... Me and Elena went on one and I was allowed to go bare back and sit by the elephants ears and feed him nanna's- it was AMAZING. 100 times better than riding a camel! We wandered around the jungle on dunking (our elephant) for half an hour and took in the views- me almost loosing my balance on the top of Dunking. There was some lush chaffing going on with my thighs and the elephants hairy back.. Which was just great! Once we got back we walked a trek and a half up this massive mountain to see a waterfall which was haaaauuugeeeee.. But so pretty.. Almost collapsed walking up because of the heat but had a dunk in the water and all was well again...
Getting ready to go out on our last night in Koh Samui, which I have a feeling could get messy as it's Seran's first official party night with & we have just bought a litre of vodka for 200 baht which is about £4 for pre drinks in mine & len's party room!
Pre drinks in the rooms didn't start off too successful as the 200baht vodka we bought wouldn't open so we had to knife a whole in the top.. Josie cut a chunk out of her finger and goon gave herself a papercut from it! Then it tasted like paint stripper! Aaah well, we decided to drink it! ... We all has a giggle at my outfit as I was wearing a white top, pearly earing, a bow in my hair and my St Christopher (patent saint of travelling) necklace on.. And I looked like a Christian virgin/ Sandra dee... So we had a sing song.. "loooook at me.. Im Sandra Dee"... Well I guess it could be true! Mmmmm...
The night was really good, we went to a couple of bars then two clubs and came home at 4am... Today were boating it over to Koh Panghan (think that's how you spell it) to soak up some more sun and have a party! Then after to Koh Toa.. Which is pretty much our last stop in Thailand :( it's come around so fast!
Will update you again all after Koh Toa... & Will hopefully be able to upload photos soon- but Internet isnt brilliant in these places!
