Hi all ~ OK, so the challenge is for you to find the bird (a Common Pauraque) in the photo
We are still having fun here, although less for the last few days which have been cold and rainy Have done a bit more birding (witness the Pauraque!) and were supposed to go this morning but wimped out and went for breakfast instead!
We have taken another golf clinic with a pro who is just great ~ he can analyze your swing and just tell you a cuple of things and lo and behold the ball goes straight! Magic, I tell you. Now, if that little white ball would only do the same thing every time!! Obviously I need a better trained ball. We also went to a flea market and upgraded our clubs so we now have a set each (high quality too, I bet!)
A number of people here volunteer at the local no-kill shelter and last weekend our park held a fund-raiser ~ a pet parade! We helped at it but did NOT enter our dog (pink fluff and glasses aren't for her!) ~ they raised over $2000 so it was well worth it.
Last night we went to the Valentine's dance ~ there was live music and lots of red and chocolate and we danced and danced ~ Malcolm is even starting to enjoy dancing
Tomorrow there is the last line-dance lesson for Elinor then our last golf clinic and we leave here Wed morning. We have really enjoyed our time and the people here.
We are going to Brownsville (nearer the Gulf coast) for a few days then heading for a week (if the weather co-operates) on the beach near Corpus Christi.
Hope all is well with you and yours,
Malcolm and Elinor ( and the 43lb lap-dog Tess)
