Worth the trip on its own: the food. Where to start, first the Hoppers, a pancake made in a bowl shaped pan so the middle is thick and moist and the edges are thin and crispy. Either plain or with an egg in the middle, eaten with fish curry or chicken curry and spicy Seeni Sambol (spicy caramelized onion heaven), scooped up by breaking off bit of the hopper.
