Hello Everyone! Iàm so glad to report that we got to see everything we wanted to in Florence! This morning started with a chat with our "landlord"...he`s from Morocco and either he is really lonely or he has a crush on Eden but he watches us eat breakfast and asks us questions about America and if we are married or not and he wants us go to MOrocco. It`s kind of creepy but we will not go into that right now. Our first stop this morning was to the Uffizi Gallery, the line was long but we figured we would get in before noon and it was only 10:20...boy were we way off. We ended up being in line until about 12:45 or so and finally made it in. It was entertaining watching the illegal street vendors run off when the policemen showed up...plus one of the policemen looked like what Heather picture Edward Cullen to look like...if he was italian. Anyway we made it in to the museum and it was great, we were a little disappointed that we didnàt get to see Boticellis Primavera though. Oh well, we saw a copy of it in London. We then decided it was time to eat since we had some gelato while we were waiting in line and were not feeling too well after all the sweets. We found our pizza place that we like and got an onion and tuna pizza. It was good, a little burnt but we had to go back to our hostel after that so get some water. We arew sure the pizza will keep any admirers away from us!"We tried to avoid our "landlord" (Eden likes to call him Guido) but he caught us again on the way out...he seems to always know when we come back to the hostel. Anyway, we took off for the train station to pick up our tickets for tomorrow and then we tried finding Galleria Accedemia. We got a little lost but we found our way back because of the many maps that we carry with us. We waited in line and got in pretty fast and we couldnàt figure out why because it was 7:10 and Eden thought she read something about it closing at 6:50. We thought maybe they were turning people away but we got in for FREE! How amazing is tha?! More money to spend on gelatto. We saw Michelangelos David and it was awe inspiring. We have seen three on this trip alone and the original was by far the best. It was a great way to end our trip in FLorence.Tomorrow we are off to Rome, we will continue to keep you all updated the best we can. We will talk to you soon!
