Hello and Welcome back to our travel journal. We are enjoying all of your comments. Naomi we liked your idea of pinching the mime. We will have to try that if we get trappend again. Father Smith we also liked your idea of knocking him down, but that might be a little too violent. This morning started out with breakfast at our hostel. There was bread, cookies, and some kind of raw meat, and what tasted like Tang to drink...we mainly stuck with the bread. We had a nice friendly chat with the guy who works at the hostel (he is from Morocco). He is very helpful...actually a little too helpful. When he seemed delighted to find out we were single we got out of there real quick.
Today we visited the Duomo and climbed the stairs all the way to the top of the dome. Theres nothing like 467 steps to break all cultural and language barriers and bond you with your fellow tourists. Plus, Eden got a first rate view of Heathers butt all the way to the top. (Good thing its a pretty view...right Eden). We also went to the Santa Mario Novella where Heather got to see her favorite painting--The Holy Trinity by Masaccio. Then we had some more gelato. We crossed the bridge and climbed a MILLION more stairs to a really good view of the city. There was also a replica of the David that you could walk ALL the way around...If you know what I mean. Eden finally got a picture pinching his derierre extrodenere. After that we got a toasted sandwich for dinner and some seconds on the gelato. There are so many flavors to choose from! We have to try as many as we can before we leave!!! We might come back twice as big...Also we were very excited to find a book store with, luckily, one copy of New Moon. And no, Eden is not in love with Edward Cullen yet. We miss you! And cute pictures of Noah (by the way)!
