Hi mum. It was really nice to speak to you guys back home too - strangely it didn't make me home sick, but it did make me realise how stuff is changing back home and I'm missing it.
I know you will miss having me about for that length of time, but I am only just having my eyes opened to the number of possibilities I have. You soon begin to realise why people get hooked on travelling and struggle to settle down.
If you could have a chat to Swansea that would be great thankyou. Im sure this sort of thing has happened plenty of times before, we'll just have to see what procedures they have.
It's a shame you can't come out here I agree, but it is just so expensive it's not surprising. Your right though, leaves me to be completely independent.
Glad the washing machine is living up to expectations! I bet your like a child at Christmas itching to get the fridge into action though hahaha!
Seems like its easily as warm at home as here at the moment then. The nights here are getting very cold now. It's hoodies, trousers and shoes past 7pm - big change to the bare feet, t-shirts and board shorts when i first got here!
Good news about Clare and Craig, I will have to write to them on Facebook! Edd xx

Hi Edd
Lovely to speak to you on Friday.
Felt sick to my stomach when you said you were not coming back in september..... I know you had thought about that when you first started at the camp and meeting so many people that had had such wonderful travels, but when you were ill I know you were having second thoughts- that was only natural.
So I sort of knew that you would probably stay out BUT to hear you say it was something else :-(
I will ring Swansea next week and speak to the admissions office, you may have to email them to tell them your intentions, but I'll have a chat with them first.
i think you are probably doing the right thing, you have such an opportunity now to travel. If you manage to work for 3 months and earn enough to travel for 6 months that would be fantastic.
its ashame we cant afford to come over to see you , but then you wouldnt have the chance to "do your own thing" and travel. Our total holiday in Portugal for flights , car hire and villa is less than 4 flights to Oz!! I have done alot of research!
Washing machine is fab-takes huge loads, so need to do fewer washes. Dad had decided to decorate old utility room , so fridge /freezer still under wraps ,and cant use it yet!
Will take photo of tom in his shirt and send it on wots app. He went to see Men in Black 3, last night and said it was very good.
weather very hot here- may get BBQ out today.Dad has gone to see Grampie. Claire had baby harry yesterday morning-both are fine.
Please skype again before you leave spot x. lots of love . Mum xxx

Mum - had that one surf and that's it. I am so 'over' this place now, I'm ready to move on for sure.
I'm not checking Bali flights yet as I have NO idea when I will go.
Olympic Torch sounded like a nice occasion, Hannah said similar things.
A new washing machine AND fridge, I bet your over the moon!!
Glad toms exams are going ok.
I will explain on Skype, but I am leaving camp on the 3rd on June to go hunting for a fruit picking job.
Your right, you need to keep David motivated and into his running, he obviously has a real talent.
I hope Grampie is ok?!
Hahaha yes I bet Mary is glad to be back..

Mum, again, I have just found that email about Bryan and Jon Eakins.
Your right - not much happeneing but days are going quickly, may be leaving in the next few weeks to go fruit picking I think. I need to do 2 more lessons and im finished.
They arnt real uggs, just very cheap rip offs. However they are dreamy to walk about camp in, so comfortable.
Driving is really fun yeah - its an automatic mini bus, so just a bit different to anything I have ever driven!
Hahahaha, I did see him drinking Pepsi quite a bit yes.
It's a real shame I can't go to Bali with Danny yes, we were talking via Facebook. could probably get flights sorted but I don't have the money. It will be good to surf with Dan again though yes.
David's running is brilliant, so pleased for him.
I did look like a raging gay in that boy band photo shoot thing hahaha, great fun though.

Tom -
Hahahaha same old same old at home eh.
Stick at it with the revision and stuff, I know it sucks now but it will be well worth it when you spank out 10 A*s. Just go out and get super loose when it's all over ;).
Hahahaha an entire Buffalo, sick.
Good luck in all your exams and drop me an mail when your done to let me know how it went.
Have a good'un. X

Dave -
I'm living it right up mate yeah, loving it :P the drunken fight was really funny, and the guy people dont get on with is leaving so its all good.
Haha I didn't buy it in the end, just got a photo for you and Tom.
Sick effort with the running, that's Awsome! I'm glad you got back into it, it's obvious your bloody good. That's an unbelievably fast time too, you little speedy John.
Yeah I was well surprised when you accepted my Facebook request haha!
In a bizzle x
Eddb
Crickey, the whole family is messaging me!
Mum - the weather has just been amazing every single day for weeks now, which is causing the lack of surf I guess. It's very easy to take it for granted.
I watched the whole champions league here at 4:45am, what a game that was!! I don't really like Chelsea but I was glad to see them win.
Oh no, that's a real kick in the teeth about the puncture.
The numbers of people in the camp as a whole has just fallen through the floor, it's very very quiet compared to when I first arrived. I like it though, it's so chilled and your just hanging out with good friends every day.
I have done another lesson, 2 left and all my hours will be signed off.
I hadn't had a message about Jon or Bryan?
Most people are still here, and anyone who isn't we can Facebook so it's good.

Literally nothing is happening at home. Dave's being a pain, mum's still nagging and Dad is still DIYing.
Got GCSEs coming up, finally got french and computing out of the way. The French books will have been cremated when you eventually return home. Dad has decided to build another log store. This thing is a beast outside the overhang of the new extension, could fit an entire buffalo in it.
Wish there was more to say since you seem to be doing stuff pretty much everyday but nothing to report back in the Bunce residents.
I'll give you an update on how things are after exams, but up until then it will mainly just be revising.
Hope you're fairing ok and try not to hurt yourself.
Tom
Dave
Just read your latest blog, sounds like you're having a great time still! The drunken brawl sounds abit wild :L sucks if they get sacked though.
I love your t-shirt hahah! However, I think there's a certain time and place where and who you can wear it around ;)
Not much going on at home as ever, last wednesday I ran at the county trials on the Bath Uni track, turned up and saw a couple of people I train with and thought I didn't stand a chance, I decided to lead the pack and be the pace maker (even though I hate it) and in the end I just sat at the front and cruised round. Lead the pack from start to finish and won the race with a PB of 4:43.1!
Not bad for my first 1500m since this time last summer ;)
That means I'm now picked for the county team and have to run another round in salisbury before I actually run for wiltshire against other counties.
Hope you continue to have a fantabulous and stay safe.
Yours Intoxicatedly,
Whiskey Sipper.
P.S: Finally got you on Facebook you cheeky John hahah ;)

Hi Edd
Thanks for blog updates.
Good to know that you have been able to go out surfing again, even though they may be small waves.
The weather looks fantastic again/
Weather is awful here, dull grey and not very warm.
We watched the championsleague last night-wont tell you result incase you havnt seen it yet- but very intersting!!
Dad took all the scrap metal to the scrap yard and was really pleased he got £100, but got a puncture in the truck on the way home-tyre cost £150!! Wins old washing machine also broke this weekend, and the fridge is on the blink- an expensive weekend!
saw vanessa and puppy yesterday- very cute.
have the numbers of people dropped off coming to the academy? Are you not getting any chance of helping to instruct?
Must get to look at your photos, dad busy outside still.
Did you read my message about John Eskins and Bryan??
make sure you keep out of the drunken fights, the early morning pick up sounded a bit of a mix up?
Which of your friends are left at the camp now? Do you hear from any of the others who have left?
Bye for now.Lots of love mum xxxxx
