hahaha, there are sharks along the whole east coast, and I Havnt heard of any beaches with nets.

I heard Slater was doing an article somewhere...I think I will try and find it to read it on the Internet. People have said Bali is getting badly polluted...you just have to choose where to go carefully.

I hear there has been heavy rain, winds and flooding?! That 20 degree week must seem like a long time ago..

Nice to hear from Bryan, and even nicer to hear they are missing me.. Must admit I Havnt thought about Renishaw much in the last few weeks!
Whenever I come home I will meet Becca and Wes to catch up, so hopefully hear about Baz then, im sure he is causing trouble as usual.

Hope your back is better? Seen the physio?
i watched the Bondi beach rescue on Utube which was good, I then spent 30 mins looking at the other lifeguard u tube clips-I didnt realise they had sharks off bondi and no shark nets!
Just been reading sunday times and Kelly Slater had written in the travel guide that the beaches in Bali were becoming heavily polluted with Rubbish , needles! and the water was "disgustingly smelly" He said it was the worst he had seen in the world! He said it was due to a massive increase in tourists. So make sure you check out the best place to go .
Weather awful here, high winds and rain. Dave played last rugby match of season - they won 25:0, dad said it was a good match.
dad and I went to the band nite in the village hall last nite, good to catch up with friends in the village.
Otherwise continuing with the decorating,dad has now finished the hanging rails in the new utility room and cut a vent in the drying cupboard to heat the new loo!
Big match tomorrow Man Utd v man city- think we may go to the welly as its on sky sports.Ill have to watch through my hands!
Swansea drew with Wolves 4:4 yesterday, Swansea were wining 3:0!! Premiership is hotting up!
heard from Bryan in the week. He was pleased to hear you have gained something useful for all your living it up in Oz! He was v pleased to hear you had passed your surf instructors course.... and very seriously said they all miss you in the office , but doubts you are missing them ! Wonder how Barry is doing ?? I miss the stories you used to tell about him over dinner. We just have tom and David ranting on like they used to when they were little... remember?

I am now fully qualified, I just need to do my remaining work experience hours.
Now I am just in academy as usual getting surf coaching until I finish. I have all the qualifications im going I get.

This weekend is like an end of summer festival with a DJ etc at camp I think.

Lasse is the one who had all his hair cut off Hahahaha.

When the physio comes I will get him to look at my back for sure.

So what happens until 5 th may, which is your last day? Do you do your life saving qualification now?
What's the festival this weekend?
Is Lenny the guy with the long hair that was cut off or is that Lasse?
Are you part of the academy or is that something else? Will you get a massage with the physio? Try to get some exercises that will help your back.
I'm doing CPR tomorrow. Now you know exactly what it involves.

Oh no that's rubbish! I hadnt seen it so no idea what happened there.

Dan has been given a job (along with Dave and charlie - 3 guys I am thinking of fruit picking with) as a tour guide. They pick up clients at Sydney/Byron, bring them to spot x, help on their lessons, and drop them off in the final destination Sydney/Bryon.

The Grommie work I will be doing is about a 5 hour (approximately) shift 6 days a week looking after the camp/clients here. It's really easy work and it means I get free food and accomadation (but no actual payment). However I may also be able to get some work instructing depending on how busy the camp is.

The boat trip was sick! I only had cash on me as I didn't want to loose anything, so no photos of my own. I am trying to find and save other people's via Facebook.

Dave still 'lives' in my room yes, but had been at Creasent Head (when I started my mojo surfing) for about the last 2 weeks, all as part of his tour guide responsibilities. He got back today though!

My back isnt great to be honest, but a physio is coming to camp tomorrow as is doing sports massages for academy so hopefully that will help.

Yeah sharks are a big thing in the last few days but nothing we can do, just keeping surfing in groups..

The trip to Byron bay sounded fantastic! Did you take any photos of the island on your phone.
Its good to see some of your friends on facebook. Having seen lenny ,we know he had long hair, but its obviously much shorter now !!

Hows your back ??? I hope you have been able to have another physio session? Your spine looked very curved on the photo of you in the kitchen-you need straightening out!
You could do with taking nurofen BUT not when you are drinking.

We saw some photos and the beach looks amazing! So jealous;)!

Had P.E today and broke the year 9 school record for 3000m ;)! Managed to do it in 11:12, however I reacon I could get a better time! I havn't run since the national cross country even and with abit of training I could beat that time by even more;)! The most ironic thing though, is that the record for the 3000m can only be set on sports day.. and guess who currently owns the title ? Tom -_- :L But sports day is fast approaching so I'm sure I'll be able to re-run it again;)!

That island is called 'Fraiser Island' and i am indeed hoping to go there yeah. Quite expensive but well worth it I hear yes.

Havn't spoken in agesss Beardy-John.

Just finished my 2 week easter holiday break (started school on monday) however my week in Portugal with the Gee's was epiccc! At the villa there was a full size table tennis table so after playing that all week I facny myself as a bit of a pro;)

Heard you're still having a great time as ever, saw a picture of you and some others on a beach with your boards (the girl in the middle wearing a pink bikini looked like abit of a fitty^^ ;)

Have been talking to Mr. Chamblerlain who, as you probably know, had a gap year over in oz. Apparently you might need to go fruit picking for so $$ and Mr. Chamberlain had to do the same. He said that when he was picking lettuices all of the noobies would cut themselves on the knives used to chop the stalk of the lettuice and that the next day they would come back with swollen thumbs and the work was really painful so I thought I'd just give you a heads up just in case you have a similar experiance.

He also told me about how when he was over in oz that there is an island off the coast which is the world ranked number one 'best beach' and the sand is pure silica. (you may also of heard of this) He went on a boat trip out there to see it and he said it was a great experiance and that he highly recommends it. So if you have a chance that may be cool to go and visit!

Auntie Mary had arrived safe and sound and is now a resident at the house which is great. But not having you around the house still isn't quite the same;)

I hope you continue to have an exquisit time, and I'm sure you will!
