I read an article in the sunday times about visiting Oz ,and seems that NSW and Queensland are the states to visit! Ill save it for when you get home.

In pleased you like the dreads! I got them wet for the first time today going in the sea - the salt has done them good I thinking, helping them stick together!

Yeah strawberries nearly done - ideally I need another weeks work somewhere/somehow ($500/$600) to be comfortable and start my travels, we'll see what I can manage.. Really I want to just do my travelling on the money I have and not have to work on the way, I do 'only' have 2 months to do it..

So strawberry picking nearly over then, you have had a good time there and made the money you needed. Sounds as if you will have to do a bit more work though? You could always work when you are travelling if you need to ?

I know the dreads are expensive, but unless you get them in Asia that's the way it is unfortunately.

Loving the photos of "inside" the strwberry picking shed- much cleaner and posher than i imagined! Please take some photos of more "every Day" things as soon you will be leaving it all behind.A shot of the surf shop would be good too,where your board is up for sale.
Sounds scary about the snake -any photos of that?

I went to a zumba class with mary last nite- lots of jumping around and not much dancing- prefered my old dance class- shame teacher has left for the USA.
Dad is starting his new consultancy job in Northampton on Thursday. It will mean living away all week again, til Xmas,so we will all miss him .

It is really good fun having the project of kitting the car out yes.

The surf camp in general seems like a very long time ago now yes...crazy really.

I guess as not many people do what I am doing parents particularly are interested.. its cool that they appreciate what I'm up to though and the work it's taken to do it.
