Well the fun keeps on coming and so does the sunshine.
On Friday we caught the ferry to Manly, a district on the other side of the harbour. What a cruise out of the harbour with the view of the bridge and the opera house. I was keeping my eyes peeled for sharks as there have been a few sightings lately. Once on dry land we had a short walk through the town to the beautiful beach. We spent the day on the main beach sunbathing while the boys hired body boards to do some boogie boarding in the waves. Believe me the waves are stronger than you think. I went in to dip my toes in to cool down the next thing I knew I was on my arse on the sand. I had been completely KO'd by a wave. This has happened twice so far. In the afternoon we went to Shell beach to finish off the sunbathing. While we were there there was a wedding on the beach so we enjoyed the band that were playing. That evening we watched Finding Nemo to set us up for our day at the Aquarium the following day.
Wow the Aquarium is nothing like Deep Sea World at home. There was a crocodile, sharks, sting rays and jelly fish. Following our afternoon of nature watching we headed into Newtown to meet Denise and Greigs friends. We went for the most amazing Thai meal and a few drinks. After many drinks we ended up in Karaoke World - yes it was exactly what it said. We were on ur own room with mikes and all the songs you could think of.
Safe to say we are having a great time on Oz and there is still lots to come.
