Had to wake up in the crazy early hours of the morning to get to my medical by 7.30. The mornings in China have something about them, was tired as hell but it was well worth it. Got to the hospital at 7.30 and walked out by 8 after having an x-ray, ECG and blood test. This would take an age if it had been done in England. Part the rock star status, part Chinese efficiency. Today I realised that im running out of time to get my medical done so I headed off to the first hospital I could find on the map. Nice and easy to get to but that's where the easy bit ended. With some success I found my way to the area where laowai get their medicals. None of the doctors spoke even a word of English but we soon worked around that and clarified that they didn't have the equipment to do some of the tests. Somehow we worked out where I should go ...
