So I just got back from my morning travels to get somethings before I leave again and I bought this most amazing tasting drink ever! It's probably going to be one of those things in going to miss incredible when I leave for home!
When I was in the subway there were these two old ladies coming into the subway so I was polite and stood up so the could both sit. She at first didn't accepted my offer but I kept insisting that she could sit down. I think her denying my offer is something a lot, if not everybody, does here in Korea. If you would buy someone a present they will probably not accept the gift the first three times. The woman was so thankful that she offered to hold my bag, and right when the seat next to her became empty she told me to sit down.
Something I also noticed is that I understand more and more things people say. Yesterday when I was with my friend Hoon he kept talking Korean and English afterwards. Sometimes he didnt even have to say the English line because I already understood what he was saying. Just like today when a guy asked me what direction I was going because they were busy with the street. I only realized later that I understood what he was saying. I think watching a lot of Korean tv shows and dramas really helps a lot. :)
Until next time!!
