My first couple of days in Seoul were great! I got to see an amazing view while standing 236 meters high on top of N-tower. I imagined I wouldn't be able to see anything because of the rain, but fortunately it wasn't that bad.
My flight on the other hand wasn't that much fun. I remember my flights to the Netherlands and how long I thought they were, but compared to this one they are as fun as a rollercoaster ride. I wasn't able to sleep at all because my seat wasn't entirely against the window. Instead there was a huge gap in between so I couldn't lay my head against it. Once I finally landed it felt really amazing knowing I just arrived in Korea. When I headed to get my suitcase I had a difficult time finding my way out. Not because there weren't any directions, but because above the exit it said immigration, and last time I checked I am not immigrating to Korea (for now)
I got to sit in the subway for about an hour and arrive at the hostel at 7. My friend Mano and I went out to get some food but once we sat own in a restaurant I wasn't very hungry anymore. I felt kind of bad for not eating a lot but he understood. I was probably because of the long flight and I was still feeling a bit nervous.
I ended the day early and went to bed. I couldn't fall asleep fast because my bed is as hard as a brick wall. I guess after I get back I'll be able to sleep on bricks. Yesterday I woke up early but decided to sleep a littlle longer after talking to my mom and sister. Once I woke up I went out and explored some parts of Seoul. I wanted to look at iteawon, which is a foreign place in Seoul but the subway system still confuses me sometimes so I couldn't find it. At night I went out to eat with another friend and we had Korean BBQ with soju, which is like a Korean wine that you drink with shots. It was actually pretty good. The meat was kind of bacon like, and even though I don't like bacon this meat had an amazing taste. I could either eat it alone, or wrap it into lettuce and add some sauce or other ingredients in it. Like I said before I saw an amazing view of Seoul at N-tower. Right after that we went and walked around Seoul for a bit. I went back to the hostel around 11:30 because I had a small headache and I didn't want to miss my last train. Those are my first two days in Korea. I haven't seen a lot if Seoul and Korea, but it has been pretty great so far.
I'll add my pictures later today because for some reason my battery died already. I'll try to buy a new battery today and switch them everyday. This is it for today! Hwaiting~!
