hi everyone , we have arrived in scotland, after a fantastic time in norway. we took a ferry trip from bergen to scrabster up the very north of scotland. the bunk room was a squash, but fortunately, we had the whole room to ourselves, not the nine intended! the trip was very calm, and we arrived in thick fog, so scrabster was just a blur of houses. even so, we did get the idea that it was a very exposed place, and isolated. the villages were tiny. tim spotted lot...

hi everyone, we are now at Ines Herrmanns, nr Magdeburg, (Ashersleben just south and then a little village called Klein Schierstedt . This is the second trainee we are visiting, and it says a lot for the Agricultural Exchanage programme we have been involved with.
