One year with no football! How will they survive?
Hi,
Well c is feelin loads better which is good as we've got lots of country to see and not a lot of time to see it!
First thing to say about rotorua, its f***ing stinks! like well bad and everyone syas u get used to it but they're chattin s***, u dont, unless u like the smell of rot. its like some1s done a nasty eggy fart in a paper bag and is making u inhale it- sick!!!!!
The next thing to mention is we saw the two swedish girls we met in nananu in fiji! well funny to bump into the, small town tho and we're doin similar itinaries so sure we'll see them again, which is nice!
We really enjoyed Rotarua, there was a lot of Maori culture to see, it was a shame we only had one day there so we couldn't do all the things we wanted to do.
we did have time to go to the rotorua mesuem which was well good, and in the evening we went to a 'hangi'. this is well similar to the ones in fiji and hawaii (dinner cooked in an underground oven), must be a south pacific thing, but this was by far the best, they did a little performace demonstratin their maori traditions etc. was well cold tho, we're defo noticin the change in temperature, but we quite like it. we forgot our camera but someone at our hostel who went has given us his pics.
on to taupo next.
xxxxxxx
