Safari - did you actually see the kill happen? Regardless, to see a lion feeding on a kill is so lucky! The Masai family experience looked fascinating - that's something we didn't get to try. Drew - you look quite clean shaven - not growing the backpacker beard yet? So far so good with food and stomach? What's planned for September? Take care - Kevin

Yesterday Wendy told me about your adventures. She sent your website address to me today so that I could keeep up with your travels.
A friend of Jul's spent 6 months in Africa, backpacking. Like you, they were invited to stay with some families they met along the way and had so many "real" experiences to share when they returned. His main comment was that no matter the level of poverty, everyone was so happy, so ready to share whatever they had, and were always smiling.
I'm so pleased for you both!

Took a break to check out the latest pics. What a great way to get my head out of the code. Who cares why intersections aren't found if the subcircuit isn't at 0,0 anyway... views of other places generate a great perspective. Thanks! :-)

It seems like you've already seen a lot in a month! Love your photos and looking forward to more. The London pics made me "homesick" a bit. I used to walk Asha along the Thames everyday and she loved running around on the green by the Eye! Stay safe & enjoy 'real' Guiness! Chika
