Dear Emi and Drew, I am a friend of Miki Tanaka and work with her at the Multicultural Center of the South in Shreveport, LA. I am very impressed by your pictures all around the world. I was born in The Netherlands, was an accountant for an American company and lived in Italy, Spain, Germany and France. I speak 7 languages (Dutch, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Russian). Are you guys planning to make a trip to Europe? Any ways, I just wanted to say HELLO and have a great day. Jaydn

Glad all is well. It is so good to hear from you and know you are healthy, safe and having a good time. Drew should be smiling, from ear to ear, with the prices you mentioned for the haircut and massage. He must think he died and went to heaven. Emi, have a wonderful birthday and do something special for yourself. Love, Mom & Gaylord

Hi all, We are just done with a 16-days Annapurna Circuit Trekking. Please wait for some of cool pictures when we get back to Kathmandu. We are now in town of Pokhara and Drew got haircut for US$1 (including shave and shoulder and head massage - and the haircut wasn't bad at all!). Now we need to get back to our hotel to get full body massage for US$5/hr/person. Unbelievable price, huh? Drew says that will be my birthday present but I should not settle with that!
PS Mark and Izumi, Thanks for birthday wishes. I can't believe I'll be 34 tomorrow!

Kilimanjaro experience must have been great! Congratulations! Russia was a lot of fun. Unfortunately though the vodka and caviar training program did not turn out as good for my climbing as was expected :)

Emi And Drew
Hello all and BIG THANK YOU to people who recommended us to go to Cape Town, South Africa. We had an awesome time in Mountain, at the beach - with whales and penguins, and winelands. It reminded us of Northern California but a lot less people. (You know we were in low seasons so we did not run into too many tourists.) Oh, we don't know how many times we thought we could live there!!! Anyway, we are in Kathmandu, Nepal now. We posted a post card so please check it out! We are still having fun and enjoying each other :) Emi and Drew
