Day in TurkMenbashi
Woke late after the rigors of the trip yesterday the hotel is one of these pseudo ones that look great but only half of the advertised things work, The outdoor swimming pool for example is a pile of mud, no wifi etc. Took a walk across the road to have a stroll alongside the sea to discover a rather smelly beach infested with sea snakes. They tell me they're not poisonous but I'm not about to test it. They started to try to climb on the pontoon I was on so I decided that I'd better exit stage left. This is a really wild place where nature although disturbed by humanity still rules the roost. Took a wander round the town (Great Market) but in 38 degree heat it wasn't long before we were in the bar. We've decided to forget the wild camp and head directly for Ashgabat longish run 360 miles with a max speed limit of 90 kph we're not allowed t o stray far from our minder so this could be boring.
