Ok time in lima is nearly at an end so better keep blogging. I have had such an awesome time in lima.

I went to the killers concert, had no idea who they were but decided to go cos being at a concert with 35000 ppl in a random place just appealed and man im glad i went and you know what, i know heaps of killers songs! So it was an adventure and a half getting the tickets, as they were totally sold out. But the receptionist Claudia at the backpackers who is now my first peruvian friend lol, said she`d help us scout tickets, as my spanish is awful. So we all piled into a taxi, about 8 of us and headed to the stadium which could have been anywhere in the world? Most random taxi ride ever there were like 7 of us all different nationalites all talking about our stories and bonded by the killers forever -

Took about an hour to get there and the concert starts at 10ish and by the time we got there the supporting act was already playing. So yup had to get tickets they were a lot harder to get than expected. I was just standing round trying to absorb the atmosphere, it was like a carnaval so many ppl, food stalls everything was so surreal. Heaps of ppl jumped the fence and some even had a massive groups of ppl just run straight through the barracades- Yea i didn´t want to get amongst the scouting, those peruvian ladies can be quite aggressive and persistent. We ended up paying 150sols for the tickets, they were pretty expensive, but we were just stoked that we had tickets so we started running towards the stadium but we werent getting anywhere fast so we jumped on a tuk-tuk looking taxi to get to the stadium. ok gotta go some pyscho lady has lost her husband and is desperate to use the internet and the dramas continue....
