Ladadooodaaa.
So my first two days in Nice, were, to be honest, quite crap. Not so nice. Ha! Ha..ha..
This! Is only because, I was sick. Malade à la tête, oui. Had that whole body ache, heavy limbs thing going on. Yucky yucky yucky.
But last night I met some awesome Americans from Maine, (whom I'd love to visit if I get the chance) and they introduced me to some cool slang, 'basic b****' and 'non-basic b****'
basic b**** : a friend, or, an aquiantence whom you spend time with but you don't necessarily have that much in common with but you hang out with because, well, they're your basic b****. Sort of one of those chicken or the egg terms. You dont really tell your basic b****es that they're your basic b****es if you get my drift. Homie.
Now. A non basic b**** is like your freakin' go to person for everything, your biffle, love of your life, favorite person etc
How great is the slang in Maine ?!?
So yea, I was feeling much better by the time the 2€ pasta party came around and I even went to the free champagne party at the neighboring hostel.

Aujourd'hui, I went to the Mamac, the free-entry contemporary art musée de Nice, where I learned about Yves Klein, this mesmerizing French artist called Ben and the oh so lovely Niki de Saint Phalle.
Oh! And I went to the post office ! Which was a lot more of an accomplishment than you may think,
ho ho hum.
I also, trust, stumbled upon a shop that was full of homeopathic books and incense and all that hippy jazz. Lovely. I bought a fan. Cause it is hot as dogs on the cote d'azur, lemme tell ya.
But tomarrow, I'm definatley going to the beach ! The photo most likely proves that :)
