Today was awesome!!!
Went to an elephant park thing where we did loads of activities. We started off with an elephant ride which was awesome! I was kinda terrified though, I didn't think I was scared until I got to it and saw the elephants and was like oh my god!! And then everyone jumped on in twos and it looked like I was going to be on my own, but Rory and Lisa were really lovely and split up so that Lisa could come with me! Felt so bad leaving Rory on his own but was massively grateful! Once we got on though it was awesome! The man driving it was like sitting on its head, it was mad! And we went through the jungle and could buy bananas to feed it and stuff! Really was amazing like! After that we got an ox and cart ride back to the start which was fun, an then the elephants did a show! It was crazy, they played with us and stuff and kissed your cheek and were so smart! Then they started the show and were painting pictures and playing basketball and football and dancing and all sorts! Took an insane amount of videos and photos haha. Afterwards there was a buffet lunch included which was just amazing!!! Like far too nice, I couldn't stop eating haha. So so good! Then we had a bamboo raft ride down the river, which was so nice, actually gorgeous scenery!
After all that our tuk tuk brought us to the tiger kingdom where we got in the cages and played with tigers! Absolutely mental. It was awesome though, I wasn't even too scared, it was just like playing with a really gentle dog or cat! So much fun. I was a bit worried they would be drugged and stuff but apparently they are just brought up to be that calm abs then when they get too big and aggressive they stop having people in with them. It really was class!
All of that only took till like 4 or 5, and then we went into the market to have a look around. I was seriously tired and went back to chill at the hotel before we left for Bangkok, and got to skype mum which was awesome! Hadn't spoken to her in ages.
At half 8 we went for our 15 hour bus to Bangkok. We were expecting it to be a bit rubbish, but we got on and it was just class! More luke an airplane than a bus! Had a hostess person and all! We had big soft seats which reclined and had massage settings and there was a tv with movies and music and SEGA!!! Haha. All the good movies were in Thai though, and the music was pretty 90s so I ended up playing a fair amount of sega haha, it was mental, had games I used to play to death as a kid like sonic and columns and flicky which I had totally forgotten about haha. Definite blast from the past. So that night was pretty sweet, only problem was that it was pretty freezing during the night, had to majorly layer up! But overall it was a stupidly awesome day :)
